Burnout is a very real thing. We have all experienced some level at different points in our career, some just more than others. So how do we avoid burnout and have a healthy relationship with our jobs? What self-care can we focus on that makes a difference and allows us to hold onto a part of ourselves?    In this week's episode I am chatting with Sarah Forest from The Designer Teacher. Sarah knows all about burn out after leaving the classroom after only four years due to a mental breakdown caused by burnout. Since then she has focused on loving teachers and helping them find ways to take care of themselves. She is sharing some great tips to keep you on track with caring for yourself so that you can continue to be the foundation you need to be in your classroom.   In this episode you will learn: The benefits of setting firm and specific boundaries. How to feel okay with taking a mental health day. How to include physical health in your self-care routine. About scheduling time for self-care in your calendar so it actually happens.
