Dr. Angela Ward manages the child centered implementation of Cultural Proficiency & Inclusiveness, and Restorative Practices for the Austin Independent School District and we are celebrating a 10 year milestone. She shares her knowledge of what culture and cultural proficiency are, describes the obstacles she faces, and spells out how community members can take advantage of opportunities to engage in the work.
